הביקוש לחשמל מתקרב ליכולת הייצור

הציבור מתבקש להפחית את צריכת החשמל משמעותית מהשעה  14:00 עד 16:00.  במידה ויתרחשו הפסקות חשמל  הן יהיו מקומיות וימשכו כשעה עד שעתיים

חברת החשמל מבקשת את עזרת הציבור וקוראת להפסיק שימוש במכשירים זוללי חשמל ולכבות מכשירי חשמל ומזגנים שאינם הכרחיים

היום צפוי ביקוש שיא של כל הזמנים לחשמל: הביקוש הצפוי יגיע ל-11,850 מגוואט ויכולת ייצור החשמל צפוייה להגיע בשעות הצהרים ל-11,900 מגוואט, כך שהרזרבה תעמוד על 50 - 100 מגוואט בלבד.

לפיכך, חברת החשמל מבקשת מציבור לקוחותיה להפחית משמעותית את צריכת החשמל שלהם, בייחוד החל מהשעה 14:00.

הציבור מתבקש שלא להשתמש במכשירים עתירי אנרגיה בין 12.00 ל- 17.00 ולהסיט את השימוש בהם לשעות הערב המאוחרות יותר. מדובר במדיח-כלים, מכונת כביסה, תנור אפיה, כיריים חשמליים, שואב אבק, וכדומה. כמו כן, מומלץ לכוון את טמפרטורת המזגן ל- 25 מעלות. 

לאור העובדה שהביקוש לחשמל עלה היום מאוד, והוא קרוב מאוד  ליכולת הייצור של החברה, כדי לייצב את מערכת החשמל ולמנוע הפסקות חשמל נרחבות, יש צפי שחברת החשמל תבצע הפסקות קצובות, שויוניות ומדודות בקווי חשמל לסירוגין, בכל רחבי הארץ, בשעות הצהרים. 

חברת החשמל מדגישה , כי הפסקות החשמל יארכו כשעה עד שעתיים ותהיינה מקומיות בלבד ומחולקות בין כל לקוחות החברה. חברת החשמל מתנצלת על אי הנוחות ללקוחותיה.

הציבור מתבקש לבצע שימוש נבון בחשמל. מומלץ לוודא שהגיבוי למכשירים חיוניים תקין.

מערך כיבוי אש והצלה ממליץ:

1.      בבניינים רבי קומות שבהם מותקן גנראטור חירום על פי חוק, יש לוודא תקינות לפחות כל חצי שנה לרבות חיבור הגנראטור למעלית.

2.      יש לוודא תקינות מערכת תאורת חירום לרבות חיבורה לגנראטור.

3.      יש לוודא תקינות פעמון האזעקה במעלית.

4.      בכל מקרה של עצירת המעלית יש להתקשר למכבי האש בטלפון חירום 102.

5.      חילוץ מתא המעלית יעשה רק על ידי מי שהוסמך לכך.

 the demand for electricity is approaching the generation capacity

The public is requested to lower significantly the demand for electricity from 14:00 to 16:00. In the event of electricity outages, they will be local and will last for one to two hours. Israel Electric calls for the public to shut down high electricity-consuming appliances and to turn off unnecessary air conditioners.   Updates regarding outage locations and duration can be viewed on the Company website.

The peak electricity demand of all times is expected today. The anticipated demand will reach 11,850 MW and electricity generation capacity is expected to reach 11,900 MW in the afternoon, so the reserve will stand at only 50-100 MW.

Therefore, Israel Electric requests that the public significantly decrease the demand for electricity, especially from 14:00.

The public is asked not to use energy-intensive appliances, such as dishwashers, washing machines, ovens, electric stove-tops, vacuum cleaners, etc., between 12:00 and 17:00 and to set air conditions at 25 degrees.

Due to the high rise in electricity demand today, it is very close to the Company generation capacity. In order to stabilize the electricity system and prevent widespread electricity outages, it is anticipated that Israel Electric will perform limited, fair, and measured electricity cuts in the system throughout the country, during the afternoon.   

Israel Electric emphasizes that the electricity outages will last from one to two hours and will be local and divided among the Company customers.  The Company apologizes for any inconvenience to its customers.

The public is requested to use electricity sensibly.

It is advisable to ensure that the backups for essential appliances are in working order.

The Israel Fire and Rescue Services suggest:

1.      Residents of high-rise buildings with an emergency generator (according to Law), must check that it is in working order once every 6 months, including generator connections to the elevator.

2.      Emergency lighting including connection to the generator must be inspected.

3.      The emergency bell in the elevator must be in working order.

4.      The Fire Department must be notified (call 102) in the event of every elevator emergency interruption.

5.      Any rescue from the elevator must be carried out by a person qualified to do so.
